Investing.com – Mexico stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.

The best performers of the session on the were Wal – Mart De Mexico, SAB De CV (MX:), which rose 2.18% or 0.840 points to trade at 39.390 at the close. Meanwhile, Grupo Mexico, S.A.B. De C.V. (MX:) added 2.07% or 1.340 points to end at 66.200 and PINFRA SAB De CV (MX:) was up 1.11% or 2.160 points to 196.990 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Grupo Financiero Banorte (MX:), which fell 1.85% or 1.890 points to trade at 100.120 at the close. Kimberly – Clark De Mexico A (MX:) declined 1.81% or 0.670 points to end at 36.260 and Ohl Mexico, S.A.B. De C.V. (MX:) was down 1.65% or 0.340 points to 20.240.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Mexico Stock Exchange by 157 to 122 and 7 ended unchanged.
Shares in Grupo Mexico, S.A.B. De C.V. (MX:) rose to all time highs; up 2.07% or 1.340 to 66.200.
Gold Futures for April delivery was down 0.77% or 9.55 to $ 1226.35 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in March fell 1.82% or 0.98 to hit $ 52.88 a barrel, while the April Brent oil contract rose 0.25% or 0.14 to trade at $ 55.70 a barrel.
USD/MXN was down 0.10% to 20.2791, while EUR/MXN fell 0.06% to 21.4856.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.28% at 101.00.
