Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.

The best performers of the session on the were Tihama Advertising&Public Relations (SE:), which rose 8.30% or 2.10 points to trade at 27.40 at the close. Meanwhile, Allied Cooperative Insurance Group (SE:) added 5.31% or 0.85 points to end at 16.85 and Lazurde for Jewelry Co (SE:) was up 3.95% or 0.95 points to 25.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Al-Ahlia Insurance Company (SE:), which fell 5.04% or 0.35 points to trade at 6.60 at the close. Solidarity Saudi Takaful Co (SE:) declined 3.33% or 0.35 points to end at 10.15 and National Medical Care Company (SE:) was down 3.30% or 1.75 points to 51.25.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 81 to 63 and 26 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for March delivery was up 1.03% or 0.54 to $ 52.88 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April rose 0.80% or 0.44 to hit $ 55.56 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.21% or 2.55 to trade at $ 1242.05 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.05% to 4.0096, while USD/SAR fell 0.01% to 3.7504.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.06% at 100.20.
