Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.

The best performers of the session on the were Umm Al-Qura (SE:), which rose 9.40% or 1.65 points to trade at 19.20 at the close. Meanwhile, National Gas & Industrialization Co (SE:) added 8.92% or 2.80 points to end at 34.20 and Hail Cement Company (SE:) was up 6.64% or 0.75 points to 12.05 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Al Sorayai Trading&Industrial Group (SE:), which fell 2.13% or 0.30 points to trade at 13.80 at the close. Electrical Industries Co (SE:) declined 1.92% or 0.50 points to end at 25.50 and Saudi United Cooperative Insurance (SE:) was down 1.85% or 0.50 points to 26.50.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 119 to 40 and 11 ended unchanged.
Shares in National Gas & Industrialization Co (SE:) rose to 52-week highs; rising 8.92% or 2.80 to 34.20.
Crude oil for March delivery was up 0.68% or 0.36 to $ 53.11 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March rose 0.71% or 0.39 to hit $ 55.62 a barrel, while the February Gold contract fell 0.26% or 3.15 to trade at $ 1212.45 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.15% to 4.0308, while USD/SAR fell 0.01% to 3.7502.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.29% at 100.24.
